Description

Contact credit union members by phone to offer credit union products and services and add value to the members overall financial experience by championing the credit unions mission, vision, and core values. Contacts will be made from strategic lead sources which identify opportunities based on the members need.

LOCATION:

Remote in MACU Footprint

Please Note: We are only able to move forward with candidates who reside in the following states:

SCHEDULE:

Monday-Friday 9am-6pm

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • 3-5 Years Required Relevant Experience

  • 2 Years of Lending Experience Required

To be effective an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully.

  • Contacts members with information regarding services and programs offered by the credit union in order to increase product penetration and loan portfolio. Seeks to attain established goals on key products as assigned on a monthly basis. Forwards calls to the appropriate areas. Assists in creating and maintaining a sales culture and achieving program sales goals. Use AAA Service.

  • Solicits loan applications and informs members of current rates and lending services offered by the credit union. Reviews, evaluates, and renders decisions on loans with in the lending guidelines, to include approvals, denials, and counter offers. Ensures that applications are complete and that a decision is render to the member within established guidelines. Ensures all loan applications are thoroughly reviewed, to include credit reports, with the intent of maximizing approval options including cross sell opportunities.

  • Works closely with the Service Center Representatives to resolve any member service issues.

  • Opens and closes all types of accounts; accepts applications for membership and ensures that each card reflects the proper signatures. Maintains records and reports to immediate supervisor on a weekly basis.

  • Achieves minimum standards set by management based on agent skill set and experience.

  • Complies with all regulations as required by law, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, FACT Act, GLBA, Regulation CC (funds availability), Regulation DD (TIS) and other regulations as required by law as it relates to his/her position.

  • Analyzes leads to find opportunities for member to improve their financial situation.

  • Makes phone calls to notify member of opportunities available to them through Mountain America Credit Union.

  • Assists members through the process of setting up and closing financial products and services

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience

Three to five years of similar or related experience.

Computer/Office Equipment Skills

Adding machine/10-Key, Type a minimum of 35 words per minute. Basic to intermediate computer operating skills (windows navigation, mouse/keyboard functionality), Intermediate Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office abilities.

Managerial Responsibility

Has no supervisory/managerial responsibility

Language Skills

Must have the ability to read, understand and carry out instructions in written and oral form.
