Description

To ensure a professional image is maintained and quality service is provided and department needs are met. Alert and aware of all persons entering the building. Perform receptionist’s duties as well as assist in the administrative duties for the MAPS/Security Team.

SCHEDULE

  • Ensures a professional image is consistently maintained, the enhancement of quality service and all needs are addressed while supporting the image and branding of the credit union.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain mutual trust and respect.
  • Greet or acknowledge everyone that comes into the building or passes by the reception area.
  • Be able to deescalate difficult situations with visitors, vendors, employees and members while remaining positive and professional.
  • Responsible for incoming and outgoing documents/checks for the various departments.
  • Answers incoming phone calls and route to appropriate teams.
  • Assist and guide employees, visitors, vendors, tenants and guests.
  • Assist in check in/out of fleet vehicles and charging stations.
  • Create profiles for new employees, tenants and vendors in access control program.
  • Issues and assigns employee, tenant, and vendor badges.
  • Assigns and returns temporary access badges.
  • Maintain access control system for employee, tenant and vendor updates.
  • Manage branch key audits and update call lists within Securestat.
  • Create and complete tickets within ServiceNow.
  • Front reception area will be occupied during business hours.
  • Responsible for contacting Day Porters when Janitorial issues arise.
  • Maintain confidentiality involving Security incidents and employee relations.
  • Crosstrain with MAPS teams to broaden knowledge and be able to better support the teams.
  • Supports the various teams within MAPS as needed including projects, tasks and mailroom.
  • Supports the daily operations of the Security Team and perform other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE:

  • At least two years of directly-related experience

EDUCATION:

  • HS Diploma or Equivalent

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, REGISTRATIONS: N/A

MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY: Has no supervisory/managerial responsibilities. May provide coaching and/or mentoring to others on the team.

OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.
  • Proactively solves problems and actively improves processes and create efficiencies.
  • Professional, exercises personal discretion and independent judgement.
  • Self-starter with strong organizing and time management skills and the ability to work productively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and timelines
  • Adaptive to change, responds positively to altered circumstances or conditions
  • Possess a desire and willingness to learn and continually update knowledge base on financial concepts, strategies, systems etc.
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and follow instructions.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES / WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Ability to sit, talk and hear consistently
  • Ability to stand, walk, and use hands to handle or reach occasionally
  • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)
  • Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more)
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally may need to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Moderate noise (business office with computers and printers, light traffic
