Oversees the day-to-day maintenance and operations of the Mountain America Credit Union network infrastructure, and associated systems.

SCHEDULE

Full Time

To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty successfully.

  • Facilitates 99.95% uptime for the expanding MACU branch footprint, and corporate offices.
  • Supervises effectively to maintain a well-trained, motivated and professional staff which provides network related services to meet the organization’s needs.
  • Responsible for the development, coaching, and support of individual team members as well as executing against MACU vision for stable and reliable networks.
  • Holds regular 1:1’s with team members and team meetings to organize work and drive performance.
  • Contributes and participates in leadership trainings and meetings.
  • Ensures integrity and security of organization computer operations to safeguard the credit union's assets and member accounts.
  • Researches and make recommendations for changes on software, hardware and system communications to continually enhance services to for both members and end-users.
  • Travels with team members as needs dictate to MACU branches, corporate offices or data centers
  • Performs other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in managing a team responsible for network infrastructure in an enterprise environment.
  • Proficiency with monitoring tools such as Solarwinds, Splunk, and similar platforms.
  • Experience managing teams that configure and maintain various network connected systems such as environmental monitors, PDUs, conference room codecs, etc.

Education

Four-year college degree and a professional certificate or a graduate degree is preferred

Computer/Office Equipment Skills

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Managerial Responsibility

Has managerial responsibility.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, members, or clients.

Other Skills and Abilities

A comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of computer processes; strong management and supervisory skills, ability to analyze and solve problems, ability to set priorities and to organize resources, ability to communicate effectively with management, subordinates, co-workers and outside service providers. Broad understanding of data/voice communication products and services, computer networks, and experience on multiple platforms is preferred. Strong communication skills required to ensure appropriate awareness amongst business partners and senior leadership.
