Description

Assist in the supervision of MSRs to process teller transactions and balance accounts, ensure quality service while achieving sales and quality objectives. Maintain compliance with credit union operational policies and procedures to meet the needs of the members.

Schedule

Full Time; Monday – Friday 8:45am – 6:15pm; Rotating Saturdays 8:45am – 2:15pm

  • Exhibits outstanding member service skills (AAA) and exemplifies MACU values and philosophy while fulfilling responsibilities as a supervisor
  • Oversees MSR operations to ensure teller transactions are processed correctly and in a timely manner
  • Responsible for coaching the MSR’s on AAA and ensure quality member service within the branch
  • Assists Branch Management in developing methods to track and measure MSR productivity, accuracy, sales and service
  • Responsible for conducting the monthly and quarterly certifications
  • Responsible for the maintenance and balancing of the cash, Vault, ATM, various MSR logs and all branch cash operations
  • Effectively and accurately performs MSR duties in accordance with established policies and procedures as needed to assist in serving the members
  • Balances cash drawer daily
  • Assists in the daily operations of the branch
  • Represents the credit union in a professional manner, both in dress and in actions
  • Creates and maintains the MSR schedule
  • Complies with all regulations as required by law, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, FACT Act, GLBA, Regulation CC (funds availability), Regulation DD (TIS) and other regulations as required by law as it relates to his/her position
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Experience

At least two years of branch or related experience

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Licenses, Certificates, Registrations, Trainings

  • Must meet all Branch Progression training expectations of an MSR II
  • Items to be completed generally within the first six months:
    • MAU Financials
    • New Account Training
    • Understanding the Generations Training
    • Branch Mentor Training

Computer/Office Equipment Skills

  • Basic computer operating skills
  • Beginner to intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Symitar experience
  • Type a minimum of 35 words per minute preferred

Managerial Responsibility

Has supervisory responsibilities that are usually partial or part time, and/or restricted to assigning work and supervising the efforts. Trains and coaches members within their team. Much of the time is spent performing work of the type supervised. May assist in giving input on candidates for employment, performance evaluations and salary reviews.

Other Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of credit union policies, procedures and regulations with ability to sell the services of the credit union. Ability to supervise and direct the work of others to give quality service. Previous MSR experience. Ability to perform mathematical calculations. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
