Reports directly to the Assistant Vice President of Branch Facilities in supporting the management of the Credit Union’s Branches, tenants and departments occupying space within the branch, and off-site locations and properties. Under the direction of the AVP, manages the Branch Facilities Maintenance Technicians within Region. Must ensure a professional image is consistently maintained, enhanced quality service is adhered to, and all Branch needs are addressed while supporting the image and branding of the credit union.

* This position will be based in Southern Utah, with a strong focus on frequent travel to Salt Lake City and Arizona areas.

SCHEDULE

Full-time; Potential responsibility for after hours calls pertaining to emergencies or issues that require immediate attention within the assigned region.

  • Under the direction of the AVP, responsible for managing the Branch Facilities Maintenance Technicians (BFMT) within Region, as it pertains to their daily job responsibilities, duties, tasks and projects, personal development, goal setting and achievement of goals as well as providing them with ample opportunity to grow and enhance their skills.
  • Responsible for conducting all performance reviews, including monthly One on Ones, Quarterly, Incentive and Merit Reviews
  • Operates independently with minimal supervision, makes decisions, problem-solves and prioritizes duties, tasks and projects.
  • Responsible for overseeing all Branch Tenants/Department needs, issues and concerns, communicating needs to appropriate individuals (AVP and Real Estate & Construction Team (RECT)) and ensuring an appropriate response and resolution is received in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Effectively coordinates with all functional areas of the Credit Union to ensure operational needs and strategies are incorporated appropriately throughout the Branches.
  • Responsible for coordinating with the Facilities Team in setting up utility contracts and initial implementation for new branches.
  • Coordinate with the BFMT and the RECT in the set-up of new branches and branch refreshes as needed, ensuring budget restraints are maintained and cost effectiveness is continually monitored.
  • Assist the RECT and the BFMT in the design and installation of landscape for all new branches and branch refresh/refurbish projects.
  • Responsible for assisting in the development of the landscape and janitorial scope of work and budgetary needs including obtaining competitive bids as it pertains to branches.
  • Responsible for performing the Risk Assessment on each vendor/sub-contractor for landscape and janitorial and the review of annual contracts and for ensuring adherence to the agreed upon contracts by performing random periodical inspections.
  • Responsible for coordinating with the RECT on contractual obligations, risk assessment and lease guidelines for Property Management of Branch Tenant spaces.
  • Responsible for coordinating with BFMT to perform annual inspections to determine needs and develop the necessary scope of work, budget, and Project Charter for refreshes/refurbishes. Continue coordination for scheduling, monitoring, completion of and reconciliation of the project.
  • Assists with development and management of capital and operating budgets.
  • Oversees the completion of projects assigned to the Branch Facilities Team.
  • Supports Facilities Team database/CMMS/Service Now administration: updates database records, extracts reports, supports users, etc.
  • Assists the Facilities Team in reviewing invoices to original proposals for accuracy and approves within limit.
  • Assist Corporate Facilities Team with the management of Space Planning data, changes, etc.
  • Frequent travel to the credit union branches is required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience

  • Two to five years prior experience working in Facilities, Properties and Property Management is required.
  • One to two years prior experience as supervisor and in personnel development.

Education

Equivalent to a two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
