Description

Manage repossession inventory by reviewing accounts prior to repossession, handing accounts during repossession, and handling post-repossession processes.

SCHEDULE

Full Time

To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully.

  • Reviews recommended accounts for repossession.
  • Coordinates with repossession agents to ensure vehicles are secured in a timely fashion.
  • Coordinates transport of repossessed vehicles to specified auctions.
  • Coordinates any additional skip work needed to located collateral with outsource skip agencies.
  • Processes Notice of Sale letters and ensure the credit union is in compliance with all State and Federal Laws.
  • Oversees member redemptions on all secured collateral.
  • Oversees relevant orders with local attorneys when needed.
  • Coordinates any additional legal work needed on vehicles.
  • Receives Impound Notices and follow up with picking up the unit.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience

Three to five years of similar or related experience

Computer/Office Equipment Skills

Adding machine/10-key. Type a minimum of 35 words per minute. Basic computer operating skills (windows navigation, mouse/keyboard functionality.) Intermediate to advanced level skill in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Managerial Responsibility

Has no supervisory/managerial responsibility

Language Skills

Must have the ability to read, understand and carry out instructions in written and oral form.

Other Skills and Abilities

Ability to communicate effectively. Must be detailed oriented, self-motivated, have excellent follow through and the ability to multi-task.

Physical Demands

Ability to talk, hear, sit, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms consistently. Ability to stand, walk, kneel and crouch occasionally
