Description

To passionately promote MACU products and services to attendees at events associated with corporate partnerships and sporting events throughout the year.

LOCATION

Events are in-person in Utah, no remote work available for this role

SCHEDULE

On-call, as needed

To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully.

  • Represent the Mountain America Credit Union brand with enthusiasm, professionalism, and punctuality at designated events.

  • Assist with event setup and breakdown, including organizing promotional materials and ensuring brand presence is maintained throughout the event.

  • Participates in event positions which include running the activity (money machine, spin wheel, football toss, soccer kick, etc.), handing out giveaways and promotional materials, encouraging participants to enter to win a prize, and handing out fliers promoting opening a new checking account or loan.

  • Demonstrate agility in responding to unexpected event challenges and showcase strong problem-solving skills.

  • Assesses, advises and assists attendees that have questions on our products or accounts.

  • Provides feedback to events manager after each event with the spirit of continuous improvement.

  • Works flexible hours, night and weekend work may be required.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience

At least six months of similar or related experience

High school diploma or equivalent

Language Skills

Must be able to read, understand and carry out instructions in written and oral form.

Bilingual preferred.

Must be an outgoing, sales-oriented individual. Must be an enthusiastic, team player with positive attitude and strong social skills. Access to reliable transportation required.

Must be able to talk, hear, and stand consistently (up to 6 hours)
