Responsible for daily operation and administration of Network Infrastructure. Assists business units to accomplish objectives. Helps streamline user experience. Responsible to mentor / train employees in a Network Technician role.

SCHEDULE
Full Time
Trains / mentors employees in the Associate Network Operations Administrator role
· Ensures all users to the credit union are configured correctly for their designated positions
· Works with vendors/carriers to ensure issues resolved in a timely manner
· Primary system administrator / owner for certain Network solutions
· Works with Senior Network Operations Administrators and Network Engineers to develop increased Network knowledge / skill
· Builds and maintains relationships with other departments utilizing any Network solutions
· Builds and maintains relationships with other IT departments
· Ensures Network related incidents and service requests are handled in a timely manner
· Assists with staging and configuration of Network equipment, including but not limited to Firewalls, Switches, Routers, SDWAN, etc.
· Assists with configuration of Network monitoring and management tools
· Assists with Network equipment upgrades to resolve caveats and security vulnerabilities
· Creates documentation for Network related systems
· Consistently meets the needs of the end user in a quality and professional manner.
· Participates in on call rotation
· Occasional travel to locations to troubleshoot network systems
· Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

Experience
· 3+ years of experience in a technology support role (could gain simultaneously with hands-on experience)
· 4+ years of hands-on Network experience, preferably with Cisco and/or Silverpeak platforms, providing front line technology support with excellent customer service soft skills.
· A basic understanding of network essentials including IP addressing, the function of network switching and routing.
· Understands basic network troubleshooting methodologies such as ping and traceroute.
· Understanding and familiarity with the Cisco CLI used to configure routers and switches preferred
Education
· High School diploma
· Equivalent to a two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study preferred
Licenses, Certificates, Registrations
Network+, A+ or CCNA certification preferred
Computer/Office Equipment Skills
· Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Visio preferred
· Basic understanding of Microsoft products such as Active Directory and MS Exchange.
Managerial Responsibility
Has no supervisory/managerial responsibilities – however is expected to train/mentor/oversee the work of Associate Network Operations Administrators
